Job summary

INTRUST Bank in Wichita, KS is seeking a Security Officer to monitor and protect assets, people, and facilities from unauthorized activity, operate in a 24/7 command center, and respond to emergencies and incidents across the downtown campus.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and a willingness to work varied shifts including weekends; candidates should have a High School diploma, 2+ years security/military experience, and be able to obtain First Aid/CPR and defensive tactics

Qualifications

• Requires excellent oral and written communication skills.
• HS diploma or equivalent is required; 2+ years security/military/law enforcement preferred.
• Must obtain First Aid/CPR certification; willingness to obtain personal protection training and defensive tactics certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to customers, vendors, and employees.
• Enroll visitors in Visitor Management system and connect them to contacts.
• Interpret video observations and alarms; create detailed incident reports.
• Respond to routine and emergency situations at remotely monitored facilities.
• Patrol premises including exterior perimeter for safety and security.
• Coordinate with officers for incident response and alarm verification.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of security systems.
