Job summary

Northwell Health Department of Behavioral Health seeks full-time or part-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Telepsychiatrists to join our team at our office in Midtown Manhattan. Telepsychiatry provides care via videoconferencing to Adult & Pediatric Emergency and Med/Surg Depts, supported by staff to reduce wait times and improve patient experience.

Qualifications

• Must be BC/BE and licensed in NYS.
• Superior computer and EHR skills.
• Emergency Psychiatry experience preferred.
• Must be able to assess ED and pediatric/adult patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Provide Telepsychiatry consultations to Adult & Pediatric Emergency and Med/Surg Depts.
• Work 12-hour shifts on a 24/7 telehealth service.
• Fully supported by Behavioral Health Counselor and staff.
• Academic appointment, teaching and leadership opportunities.
