Job summary

Trail Drive Management Corp is seeking a full-time 24/7 Security Officer to protect our Fort Worth venues. This on-site role includes patrols, access control, incident reporting, and coordination with the Security Supervisor.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in security or related fields, valid Texas driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a Texas Guard Card; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. CPR/first aid skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Background in corporate security, loss prevention, military or law enforcement preferred.
• Three years of experience in security or related field required.
• Fluently bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrols the facility to prevent losses and protect patrons and staff.
• Control access by issuing visitor badges and checking credentials.
• Unlocks and secures doors before/after events; move barricades as needed.
• Operate security vehicles and respond to incidents.
• Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports for supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with all organizational policies and procedures.
• Complete ongoing training; maintain certifications and reporting.

TDMC manages several venues in Fort Worth, TX.

Job Summary

Trail Drive Management Corp (TDMC) is looking for a full-time 24/7 Security Officer. This position is responsible for incident reporting and general security operations directly associated with protecting the facility, its patrons, employees, and the interests of the organization. This includes the protection of all facility infrastructure and assets. Security officer personnel will complete required training, work varying schedules, investigate incidents, complete reports, and patrol the facility. This position will be 100% on-site.

Essential Job Functions

• Patrols the facility as directed to prevent or minimize property loss, property damage, personal injury, or situations having a negative impact on the organization.
• Monitors and authorizes entrance through issuance of visitor’s badge or check of credentials of employees, guests, and others to ensure the safety and security of the facility.
• Unlocks and secures doors before and after events as directed.
• Move barricades to secure/open specific areas in and around the facility as needed.
• Operates security vehicles including golf carts for patrol and response to calls/incidents.
• Conducts proper investigation and inquiries into all incidents, accidents, security issues, and situations impacting the facility or the Organization’s interest, its employees, partners, and guests, to include but not limited to damage, losses, safety matters, or injury. Provides detailed reports to the Security Supervisor and Safety & Security Manager.
• Ensures understanding and compliance with all guidance, instruction, policies and procedures of the organization and the proper execution of assigned duties.
• Completes ongoing, in-service training for all security personnel, maintaining all certifications and required training as specified.
• Ensures all shift-related issues, observations, and critical information are documented, verified, and accurately reported to the appropriate decision maker in a timely fashion.
• Operates detection devices to screen individuals or packages and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.
• Responsible for monitoring security systems, work communications equipment, and reporting any issues with the facility systems during assigned shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Law Enforcement, Criminology, or a related field preferred.
• Background in corporate security, loss prevention, military or law enforcement, and operating within a diverse workforce at major public venues.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in the military, security, law enforcement, or a related field.
• Possess a current Texas Driver’s License.
• Be eligible to obtain a Texas Guard Card.
• Fluently bilingual English / Spanish strongly preferred.
• Must show good judgment and common sense.
• Follow directions and directives from supervisors.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude.
• Ability to function well during a critical or emergency incident.
• Ability to perform CPR and other first aid procedures.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including – nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to communicate effectively with management, guests, and team members.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Working Conditions

• Employees will work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures.
• Employees must have the ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Employees will regularly spend their shift standing/walking, traveling stairs, with limited to no sitting.
• Employees may be exposed to high noise levels and/or fluctuating lights in event settings.
• Employees must have the ability to reach, lift, and bend to perform job duties throughout the shift.
• Employees may be exposed to hazards associated with moving vehicles and require strict adherence to safety protocols.
• Employees may be exposed to hazardous chemicals, electrical shock risks, and vibrations throughout the shift.
