Job summary

CCA Professional Recruiting seeks a hands-on Extrusion Manager to lead a 24/7 plastics manufacturing operation, overseeing production, safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement while developing production supervisors.

The role emphasizes root cause analysis, Lean/5S, and collaboration with Maintenance, Quality, R&D, vendors and plant leadership, with a base salary of $140K–$150K plus bonus.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of production leadership experience in plastics process manufacturing.
• Strong people-management and supervisor-development experience.
• Hands-on, floor-focused leadership style.
• Experience with root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Blown-film extrusion preferred; cast film, blow molding, or thermoforming experience considered.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, ISO 9001, or other quality tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Lead extrusion operations across a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Manage and develop production supervisors and employees.
• Drive improvements in safety, quality, productivity, waste, downtime, and efficiency.
• Monitor production KPIs and implement corrective actions.
• Lead root cause analysis, Lean/5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Maintenance, Quality, R&D, vendors, and plant leadership.
• Maintain production records, work orders, and department budgets.
• Build employee engagement and a strong, accountable production culture.
