Job summary

The Quality Assurance Shop Floor team at Bristol Myers Squibb in Summit, NJ is seeking a QA Specialist to provide on-the-floor quality oversight across Manufacturing, QC Laboratories, Label Operations and Warehouse Ops.

You will interpret issues, document investigations, review batch records, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with cGMP and company policies. This role offers exposure to global quality systems and fast-paced manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Must be action-oriented and proficient in decision-making, communication and problem solving.
• Ability to interpret problems, document communications clearly, and escalate as needed.
• Experience with quality processes: batch review, deviations, CAPA, change control.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-the-floor quality oversight across Manufacturing, QC Labs, Label Operations and Supply Chain.
• Review and approve deviations, investigations and CAPA records with sound judgment.
• Perform MES-based verifications and audit trails per approved procedures.
• Observe cleanroom practices and aseptic techniques during operations.
• Draft and review procedures, forms, and logbooks for accuracy and compliance.
• Support implementation of improvement plans with area owners.
• Engage in shift and quality meetings and share data within the team.
