Worthington Enterprises in Maize, Kansas seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead a 24/7 manufacturing facility, driving safety, quality, and financial performance while engaging a professional on-site team.

You will oversee production, maintenance, engineering, scheduling, inventory, and CI, coach leaders, develop bench strength, and partner with HR to hire and develop talent in a hands-on, visible leadership role.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
Experience leading a 24/7 manufacturing or continuous production operation.
Proven ability to manage operating budgets, capital investments, and overall plant financial performance.
Strong understanding of production planning, inventory management, quality systems, and CI.

Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of a 24/7 manufacturing operation to deliver high-quality products safely and on time.
Drive productivity, quality, efficiency, and overall plant performance.
Ensure customer expectations are met through effective production planning and execution.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Build and develop a high-performing leadership team and engaged workforce.
Coach and develop supervisors and employees; create opportunities for growth.
Develop bench strength and succession plans for leadership continuity across shifts.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, respect, and continuous learning.
Partner with Human Resources to support hiring, development, performance management, and engagement.
