Job summary

UNLV is seeking a Maintenance Repair Worker 3 to support the Space and Facilities Department. The role focuses on managing assets, keys, access control, alarms, vehicles, warranties, and installations, while performing light maintenance tasks and coordinating with landlord teams.

The position provides 24/7 facilities support across UNLV School of Medicine facilities and a large workforce, ensuring reliable operations and safety for all buildings and equipment.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience performing semi-skilled work in a relevant building or mechanical trade, or one year as Maintenance Repair Worker II in Nevada State service, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A valid class C driver’s license is required at the time of appointment, and all certifications and licenses must be kept current as a condition of continued employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and track assets, keys and building access cards, alarm devices, vehicle fleet, warranties, renewals, installations and inspections of facilities and equipment.
• Provide 24/7 facilities support to UNLV School of Medicine facilities and over 1200 employees, coordinating with landlord maintenance teams when needed.
