Job summary

MedVet West Chester is seeking a highly skilled emergency veterinarian to provide urgent care for small animals. You will work with a team of technicians and specialists across MedVet Cincinnati and MedVet Dayton to deliver rapid, high-quality treatment.

Interest in emergency surgeries is welcome but not required. The role offers a state-of-the-art surgical suite, modern patient rooms, and a collaborative environment focused on compassionate care.

Qualifications

• DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• Valid Ohio veterinary license.
• Emergency and critical care experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong surgical skills (desired).
• Passion for providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care to small animals in need of immediate medical attention.
• Perform emergency surgeries when needed (interest/ability desired).
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and specialists across MedVet hospitals.
• Ensure patients receive high-quality, compassionate care.
• Maintain clear communication with clients and team members.
