McLaren Flint is actively recruiting an Emergency Medicine Physician to join a collegial team serving Flint and surrounding communities. Qualified candidates will be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine and join a Level II trauma center with an ED volume of about 45,000 annually (roughly 130 per day).

The department features 40-45 hours of physician coverage daily, 10-hour shifts, and substantial NP/PA support.

McLaren Flint is actively recruiting an Emergency Medicine Physician to join a well-respected and collegial team that has been serving Flint and its surrounding communities. Qualified candidates will be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.

Annual ED Volume: 45,000 (130 daily)

  • 35-bed ED with 3 trauma rooms
  • 40-45 hours of Physician coverage daily
  • 10-hour Physician shifts
  • 24-30 hours of NP/PA coverage daily
  • Separate Fast Track
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Level II Trauma Center

FACILITY HIGHLIGHTS

McLaren Flint is a 378-bed tertiary teaching facility located in Flint, Michigan, serving the medical needs of residents in greater Genesee County and Mideast Michigan. McLaren Flint is affiliated with Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in its medical residency programs including family practice, internal medicine, general surgery, and orthopedic surgery. McLaren Flint also maintains fellowship programs in clinical health psychology, vascular surgery, minimally invasive surgery, and cardiology in partnership with MSU. The hospital is certified as a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence, a Gold Plus Comprehensive Stroke Center (Joint Commission), and a BCBSM Blue Distinction Center+ for Spine Surgery, Cardiac Care and OB services. Cancer accreditations include the American College of Radiology Radiation Oncology Practice Accreditation and the Quality Oncology Practice Initiative, American Society of Clinical Oncology. McLaren Flint has a rich history of providing high quality, compassionate health care and is also the region’s leader in cardiovascular services, offering more types of surgeries and procedures than any other area hospital.
