• Coordinate shipments with internal departments, external partners, suppliers, and service providers.
• Assist with invoicing and processing of SP provider invoices per Bechtel policy.

Project Overview:

Bechtel is building a semiconductor manufacturing plant in New Albany, Ohio. We are partnering with the North America Building Trades Unions and suppliers to create several thousand new jobs and work with local education organizations to implement new training programs that will support the future talent pipeline. Bechtel Manufacturing & Technology, Inc. offers engineering, procurement, and construction services for customers in the semiconductor manufacturing, electric vehicle, and data center markets. Headquartered in Reston, Virginia, the M&T global business unit also includes colleagues working in Arizona, Ohio, Texas, India, and additional project locations around the world.

Job Summary:

In this role, you will support project execution by performing technical and commercial logistics activities. You will coordinate domestic shipments with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of goods in alignment with project requirements, policies, and procedures.

Major Responsibilities:

• Execute domestic shipment activities in support of project requirements, ensuring goods are delivered safely, on time, and in a cost-effective manner.
• Prepare logistics reports and performance metrics to support project information and reporting requirements.
• Evaluate transportation cost and service alternatives to support materials and equipment purchasing decisions, as well as the selection and use of Logistics Service Providers.
• Support the preparation of logistics studies, including site visits and Logistics Service Provider facility assessments.
• Coordinate shipments with required internal departments, external partners, suppliers, and Logistics Service Providers.
• Ensure timely audit, validation, and processing of Logistics Service Provider invoices in accordance with project procedures.
• Provide support to the project Logistics Lead as requested.
• Assist with the filing, tracking, and resolution of Logistics Service Provider claims.
• Assist in preparing Logistics Service Provider bid evaluations, commitment authorizations, and contract documents in accordance with Bechtel policies and procedures.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Requires a bachelor's degree or international equivalent; alternatively, 2-4 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Basic understanding of supply chain and logistics concepts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong willingness to learn, adapt, and develop within a project logistics environment.
