Job summary

HH Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Boynton Beach, FL to maintain apartment communities and common areas. The role focuses on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building maintenance with a goal of timely repairs and resident satisfaction.

The position offers a Monday–Friday day shift, potential on-call rotations, and a path from temp to permanent employment. High school diploma preferred; EPA/HVAC certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general building maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while also working effectively as part of a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize work orders and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Availability to participate in an on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout apartment units, common areas, and property grounds.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and other building systems.
• Complete work orders, preventive maintenance, and apartment make-ready repairs in a timely manner.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests and emergency service calls with professionalism and good customer service.
• Conduct property inspections and address maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and equipment issues.
• Perform general repairs including painting, drywall, carpentry, flooring, and fixture replacement.
• Assist with maintaining the property’s pools, landscaping, irrigation, and other community amenities as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are required.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory and keep maintenance areas clean and organized.
