Per Mar Security Services is seeking a Fire Panel Operator to monitor fire alarm control systems and dispatch the Fire Protection Officer in response to alerts. The role requires logging, coordination with emergency response teams, and maintaining site safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include monitoring 24/7, dispatching responders, logging communications, and ensuring audit-ready records. Training is provided; competitive compensation and various full-time/part-time shifts are available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Fire Alarm Monitoring.
• Acknowledge and assess alarm types: fault, pre-alarm, and fire.
• Ensure seamless shift handovers and operational continuity.
• Immediately dispatch the Fire Protection Officer upon alarm activation.
• Notify internal emergency contacts and site supervisors.
• Maintain communication with fire teams and security personnel.
• Log all communications and actions taken during incidents.
• Report faults or malfunctions in the fire panel system.
• Assist with system resets and support technicians during testing or repairs.
• Maintain detailed logs of alarms, faults, and drills.
• Record response times and actions taken.
• Ensure logs are secure and audit-ready.
• Follow fire codes and plant safety protocols.
• Complete required training and stay current on system updates.
• Maintain readiness for audits and inspections.

Fire Protection

$22.50 per hour

Full-Time: Saturday-Wednesday 7AM-3PM (40 hours per week)

Full-Time: Thursday-Sunday 7AM-3PM plus Mondays 11PM-7AM

Job Summary
