Schnucks in Bettendorf, IA is hiring an experienced full-time Assistant Deli Manager to oversee daily deli operations, support the Department Manager in their absence, and ensure safety and quality standards are upheld.

Responsibilities include scheduling, training, inventory control, sanitation, and delivering friendly service in person and on the phone. The role requires weekend flexibility and shifts from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Job Description As a family-owned supermarket for over 75 years, Schnucks is proud of its tradition of top-quality selections, service excellence and friendliness. We have an immediate opening for an experienced full-time Assistant Deli Manager at our Bettendorf, IA store. The Assistant Deli Manager will perform all the duties and job functions of an experienced clerk. Must have the ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions. The Assistant Manager will assume the responsibility of the Department Manager in their absence.

The position is 40 hours per week. Flexible availability including weekends is important in our retail environment. Hours may range from 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.

• Minimum of six months of related experience

Additional Requirements – Internal Candidates: Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred. Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred. Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline). If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.
