Job summary

A1 Shipping LLC in Virginia Beach, VA is hiring FULL-TIME Delivery Drivers to handle the last mile for Amazon DSP. Start at $21.00 per hour with medical, dental, and vision benefits, paid training, PTO, 401K match after 3 months, and overtime eligible at $31.50 per hour.

Shifts are roughly 10am–8pm, with 4 days per week and 8–10 hours per day, including one weekend day. Qualifications include authorized work in the U.S., a valid driver’s license (CDL not required), clean driving record and 2+

• Be able to move boxes up to 50 lbs., with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Operate an electronic device for GPS and daily records.
• Have a positive can-do attitude and focus on customer service.

Job Description

• Start at $21.00 per hour!

Delivery Driver Associate Responsibilities:

• Shifts are approximately 10am-8pm.
• You can expect to work 4 days per week and 8- 10 hours per day. (1 weekend day per work week is required)

Delivery Driver Requirements:

We provide on-the-job training (at no cost to you) so that all of our employees are prepared and feel confident on the road and the doorsteps of customers. Health and safety are always a top priority for Amazon and the Delivery Service Partners Amazon contracts with.

• Authorized to Work in the United States
• Have a valid driver's license (a commercial driver's license (CDL) is not required)
• Have a clean driving record and at least 2 years of driving experience.
• Be able to operate and navigate a delivery van, weighing 10,000 lbs. or less (you do not need to provide your own vehicle)
• Must be able to move boxes up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Be at least 21 years of age for insurance purposes.
• Be able to read and speak English for safety reasons.
• You must have a willingness to be Flexible as routes can vary along with traffic delays, weather conditions, construction, etc.
• While your schedule will be approximately 10am-8pm, it can vary slightly depending on the route for the day.
