Kennedy Jenks is offering a 2027 Kickstart Internship in Denver, Colorado. You will support water resources, water quality, wastewater and water treatment projects for our clients across the United States, with opportunities to engage in field work, design plans, and client meetings.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Drafting /3D Design, or a related engineering field.
• Completion of a minimum of sophomore standing in an accredited engineering program.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams on water resources, water quality, wastewater and water treatment projects.
• Assist with field work, technical report preparation, calculations, pre-construction conditions documentation, and design plans.

We are looking for ambitious achievers to join our 2027 Kickstart Internship Program in Denver, Colorado!

Your work will support project teams providing solutions for water resources, water quality, wastewater and water treatment, and recycled water planning and implementation issues that our water environment, transportation, and industrial sector clients are facing. You will have opportunities to get involved in significant projects throughout the United States. These projects may involve field work, technical report preparation and calculations, pre-construction conditions documentation, design plans and specifications.

A Day in the Life of an Intern:

• Working on a variety of projects which allow you to apply skills and calculations that you have learned in school
• Managing ongoing projects and communicating with other team members and clients

Qualifications:

Pay rate for this position is anticipated to be $21 to $26 per hour, and may vary based upon education, experience, qualifications, skills, licensure/certifications, seniority, geographic location, and performance.
