AMD is inviting a Spring/Summer Co-op or Internship in the Austin area to work on data analytics projects. You will analyze and organize raw data to craft proofs of concept, prototype solutions, and implement them using analytics methods and visualization techniques.

The role involves data analysis assignments and building data for prescriptive and predictive modeling to generate business foresights. Applicants should be enrolled in a US-based university in an undergrad program related to data

Qualifications

• You are currently enrolled in a United States based University into a Undergrad program majoring in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineer, Computer Science or a related field

Job Details

• Locations: Austin, TX, Boxborough, MA, Fort Collins, CO, Longmont, CO, Fishkill, NY, Rochester, NY
• Onsite/Hybrid: This role requires the student to work full time (40 hours a week), in either a hybrid or onsite work structure throughout the duration of the co‑op/intern term

Duration

• Spring/Summer Co‑op: January 15, 2027 - August 13, 2027
• Summer Internship:
• Semester Students: May 24, 2027 - August 13, 2027
• Quarter Students: June 21, 2027 - September 10, 2027
• Summer/Fall Co‑op:
• Semester Students: May 24, 2027 - December 10, 2027
• Quarter Students: June 21, 2027 - December 10, 2027

What You Will Be Doing

Who We Are Looking For

• You are currently enrolled in a United States based University into a Undergrad program majoring in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineer, Computer Science or a related field
• If you have knowledge / experience with any of the following technical skills (or related areas) and are enthusiastic about this role, we strongly encourage you to apply –
• Python, SQL, R, Java
• Data processing, data engineering and/or data science
• Kubernetes, Tableu, PowerBi, data analytics
• Microsoft cloud services like Azure and AKS
• Snowflake, Oracle, SQL server data platform
• Software development (including design, implementation, testing, and other related work)
• Database design and data modeling
