Job summary

The Freeman Company is seeking a Growth intern for a 10-week summer program to gain hands-on exposure to the live events industry. You will work with sales and client teams to learn how Freeman identifies opportunities, develops solutions, and builds client relationships.

This in-person internship supports Growth teams and is based in-office and/or show-site at Dallas, TX; Washington, DC; Las Vegas, NV; Orlando, FL. Completing a college degree between Dec 2026 and May 2027 is required.

Qualifications

• Currently completing a college degree or program between December 2026 and May 2027.
• Majors in Business, Communications, Event Management, Hospitality, Sales, or related programs.
• Motivated to learn how The Freeman Company wins new business, grows existing accounts, and delivers solutions for clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist in researching prospective clients, markets, and new business opportunities.
• Support sales presentations, proposals, and client meetings.
• Analyze client, market, and sales data to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales, solutions, and delivery teams across The Freeman Company.
• Gain exposure to winning, retaining, and growing client relationships.

Summary

Are you a student interested in sales, building client relationships, and partnering with clients to bring incredible live experiences to life? Join The Freeman Company for a 10-week summer internship experience where you'll gain hands-on exposure to the live events industry. You'll contribute to real projects, learn alongside industry professionals, build your network, and participate in professional development throughout the summer. As an intern within Growth, you'll work alongside our sales and client teams to learn how Freeman identifies new opportunities, develops solutions, builds lasting client relationships, and grows our business.

Depending On Your Role, You May Support

• Business Development: Help identify new clients and opportunities, build sales pipelines, and develop solutions that connect client needs with The Freeman Company's services
• Client Relationships: Support teams responsible for strengthening existing client partnerships, retaining business, and identifying opportunities to expand the services we provide
• Client Solutions: Work alongside sales, operations, and delivery teams to help turn client needs into solutions that can be successfully sold and delivered

This position will support Growth teams. The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show-site based out of:

• Dallas, TX
• Washington, DC
• Las Vegas, NV
• Orlando, FL

Education & Experience

• Strong communicators who enjoy building relationships, collaborating, and solving problems
• Comfortable analyzing information, managing multiple priorities, and working across teams
• Motivated to learn how The Freeman Company wins new business, grows existing accounts, and delivers solutions for clients
