Position

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Systems Security Engineer intern for an internship opportunity. This position will be located at our Roy, UT facility.

Job responsibilities

• Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
• Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
• Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Basic Qualifications

A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria.

• Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2027.
• Be majoring in or having majored in Cybersecurity Information Assurance, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
• Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).

Preferred Qualifications

• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile).

Intern Pay Range

Bachelors: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour Masters: $32.75 to $35.50 per hour
