Qualifications

• Majoring in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Finance, Operations Management, or closely related discipline.
• Available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
• U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite and ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Supply Chain Intern for an internship opportunity. This position will be located at our Mission Systems sector in Elkridge, MD.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s MSTS’ LRAD and DS organization.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Actively monitor supplier delivery and quality performance tracking
• Actively support functions to provide comprehensive business forecasting.
• Interface with GSC planning leads to pull and analyze data for LRAD and DS OU
• Coordinate with internal partners to develop competitive and non-competitive sourcing strategies.
• Extract, monitor, analyze and validate data and information from multiple sources.
• Develop engaging and collaborative relationships with suppliers and internal partners / customers to drive problem resolution.

Basic Qualifications

A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

• Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2027
• Be majoring in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Finance, Operations Management, or closely related discipline.
• Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
• Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

Preferred Qualifications

• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher
• Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)
• Keen interest in Global Supply Chain functional group
• Exposure or experience with Power BI, Tableau and Microsoft Office skills, including Excel formulas, pivot tables and PowerPoint.

Intern Pay Range

• Bachelor’s: $18.25 to $33.00 per hour
• Master’s: $26.25 to $41.50 per hour
