Job summary

Itaú US is offering a 10-week summer internship in New York City or Miami. Interns will be placed in a designated area for the summer and work on high-impact strategic projects. The program includes mentorship, networking events, a speaker series, and an end-of-summer project intended to build strong foundations for future full-time opportunities.

• GPA ≥ 3.65
• Bachelor’s Degree in all majors is welcome
• Eligible to work in the US (including F1 visa holders under CPT/OPT)
• Eligible to work 100% in person from NYC during the program
• Have not previously participated in our US Summer Internship Program

WHAT YOUR SUMMER WILL LOOK LIKE

The Itaú Summer Intern will take part in a 10‑week program where they will be placed in an area for the duration of the summer, where you will engage in high impact strategic projects that will add value to the bank as well as your experience. This experience will be complemented by a mentorship program, networking events, speaker series, and an end of summer project. The goal of the internship is for the intern to leave with a strong foundation and cultivated skills, as well as an understanding of how a company such as Itaú works. Based on performance and a match between area and intern, successful summer interns may apply to future full‑time positions at Itaú.

In our NYC office, we have internship opportunities in the following areas:

1. FoF ( Fund of Funds): Selects and manages external fund managers across equities, fixed income, and alternative investments, creating diversified solutions that support client portfolios.

2. DCM (Debt Capital Markets): Advises on and executes fixed‑income transactions, connecting issuers with investors in global capital markets.

3. Finance: Supports key financial functions including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, reporting, and strategic decision‑making to help drive business performance.
