Marsh Agency in Yakima, WA is seeking a motivated student for its 2027 Summer Internship Program. This in-person internship offers hands-on exposure across client service, risk management, operations, sales, and analytics, with mentors and structured training to help you grow.

You’ll work directly with multiple teams on real projects, gain resume-building experience, and develop professional relationships. The internship pays $18.85 per hour, with a base salary range of $34,100 to $62,200

Qualifications

• Overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above at the time of application and start date.
• All academic grades considered.

The Job

Please note this position requires you to work in-person Monday through Friday in Yakima, Washington. We do not offer relocation expenses.

Marsh Agency is looking for an intellectual and motivated student to participate in our 2027 Summer Internship Program. Our ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player and possess a desire to seek a future career within risk management.

As an intern, you will spend time directly with a variety teams, gaining exposure through various functional departments to learn about client service, risk management, operations, sales, business analytics, and more. Interns will work on a variety of projects aimed to offer hands on experience to develop solutions for real world business problems.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Collaborate cross-functionally to support the overall mission and vision of the Marsh Agency department you’re working in.
• Provide meaningful and specific support to directors, sales executives, and client relations staff to further enhance new business and retention opportunities.
• Play an active role on the team: maintain positive relationships with colleagues. You’ll grow your network by working closely with your manager, mentor, and other interns.
• Learning opportunities: You’ll participate in several national and regional classes that introduce you to our industry and our organization. They’re designed to set you up for success as an emerging professional, and to help you better understand Marsh Agency and our industry.
• Cultivate industry relationships through opportunities to meet with a wide variety of our industry partners allowing you to grow your professional network.
• Paid internships: All work and no pay? No thanks. Our internships pay for your hard work. Our hourly wage for this position is $18.85 per hour.
• Plus (the fine print): you’ll follow organization policies and procedures, sales and service standards and established workflows. You’ll ensure quality control through proper file documentation and maintenance. You’ll maintain confidentiality and be an all-around awesome member of our team.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $34,100 to $62,200.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
