Job summary

Southern California Edison invites students to a 12-week summer internship designed to expose you to real-world challenges within the utility/energy sector. You will be paired with a mentor and collaborate to apply your knowledge, grow your skills, and make an impact while building your professional network through intern events.

You will work with cross-functional teams on projects, receive ongoing growth support, and present your internship project at the Intern Expo.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Environmental/Fire Science at an accredited institution with a graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• 2.8 GPA or higher.

Additional Information:

• This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for aset numberof days with theoptionto work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employeesare required toresidein the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
• The internship has a start date of May/June 2027 and end date of August/September 2027.
• Interview process/selection process will begin at or around November 2026 - March 2027.
• Transcripts will be verified during the on-boarding process.
