Job summary

Anderson Eckstein & Westrick, Inc. (AEW) offers a paid Summer Internship program spanning Civil Engineering, Architecture, GIS, and Surveying. Interns gain hands-on experience by rotating through survey, construction services, and engineering teams, with exposure to field and office tasks.

Interns work full-time during May–August and must be 18+ with a relevant degree pursuit. A valid driver’s license is required to support field assignments.

• Work will include office and field tasks in varying weather and rugged terrain.

Job description

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our PAID Summer Internship program. Meet our talented team and gain real-world experience in the fields of Civil Engineering, Architecture, GIS, and Surveying!

You will work alongside licensed and experienced professionals, obtaining a hands‑on learning experience. Our interns rotate during the summer internship, spending time in our survey department (helping our teams with construction staking and topographic surveys), our Construction Services department (performing construction observation on our active projects) and our Engineering department (doing design work with our engineering teams). Interns will work full‑time hours during the summer months, May – August.

Candidates must be 18+ years old and pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil engineering, architecture, surveying or related field at an accredited college. A valid drivers license and reliable transportation is required. Work will include office and field tasks which including working outside in a range of weather conditions and on rugged terrain.
