Roche invites motivated students to join the 2027 Summer Internship in Quality, Regulatory, and External Affairs (QR&E) with on-site rotations across the Diagnostics organization. The program runs for 12 weeks over two summers, starting May/June 2027, in Indianapolis, IN, and other sites.

This internship position is on-site. Selected interns will be placed in one of the following company sites:

The Opportunity

Launch your career with the Roche Global Quality, Regulatory, and External Affairs (QR&E) Internship, a dynamic, two-summer rotational program designed to build your expertise across our organization.

Rotational Experience: Over two consecutive summers, you will gain invaluable, hands-on experience by tackling high-impact projects and rotating to a new functional area each year. Placements are available in critical departments such as Quality, Regulatory, and External Affairs, offering a complementary view of the diagnostic landscape.

High Visibility & Business Impact: Throughout the program , you will contribute directly to business-critical initiatives. Past interns have made significant contributions to regulatory submissions for global health agencies and driven key process improvements within our Global Quality Management Systems.

Leadership & Career Exploration: Work alongside top industry talent, interact with leadership, and explore various exciting career pathways across the biotechnology sector.

Program Highlights
  • Intensive 12-weeks, full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship.
  • Program start dates are in May/June 2027 (Summer).
  • Ownership of challenging, high-visibility, and impactful business-critical projects.
  • Work and collaborate with some of the most talented professionals in the biotechnology industry.
Who You Are (Required)

Required Education:

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate university program with two years of education remaining. (Example - Current sophomores (rising junior) pursuing a Bachelor's Degree program)

Required Majors & GPA: Majoring in a STEM-related degree with a GPA of ≥ 3.0.

Availability: Minimum commitment and availability of 12 weeks.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis is $25.00-$29.00 per hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position also qualifies for paid holiday time off benefits.
