Job summary

CIBC offers a Summer Internship in Private Wealth, exposure to private wealth, commercial banking and technology. You’ll work with experienced professionals, participate in real projects, and gain insight into how technology drives client solutions at CIBC.

You’ll learn through hands-on assignments, structured training, and exposure to both technical and analytical skill development while networking across the bank and meeting executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Currently a junior or senior pursuing a major in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.

About the Program

Our Summer Internship is a 10-12 week program designed to provide hands‑on experience and exposure to the dynamic world of private wealth, commercial banking and technology. As an intern, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals, participate in real projects, and gain insight into how technology drives innovation and client solutions at CIBC.

What You’ll Be Doing

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected hourly rate of $25.00 per hour for the State of Illinois market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position.
