Job summary

Waymo is seeking an intern who is pursuing a graduate degree in computer science or a related field to contribute to the Waymo Driver research and development efforts in Mountain View, CA. You will work on clustering autonomous vehicle driving behaviors, building data pipelines, and prototyping signals to improve driving performance.

You will:

• Proficiency in Python / C++
• Basic proficiency for data analysis (SQL or Python)
• Data fluency

• Experience with training and evaluating Machine Learning models
• Experience prototyping agentic systems
• Experience with C++ and large-scale distributed systems
