Job summary

• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Draft and refine requirements for mobile customer experience initiatives.
• Write and refine user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira.
• Collaborate with design (Figma) and engineering to track features from requirements to release.
• Use AI tools to accelerate research, documentation and requirement writing.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies and prepare materials for roadmap updates.
• Present a summary of key contributions at internship end.

What you can expect in this role

As a Spectrum intern, you'll spend the summer working alongside two teams: your respective department and your intern cohort.

Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You'll spend the other 20% on internship experiences that include a kickoff conference, professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects and final presentations.

This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand your network and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of our business.

Internship responsibilities may include:

The Spectrum Mobile Product Intern provides essential support to the Mobile Product team by helping define and refine requirements for our mobile customer experience. This role supports the product lifecycle from customer research through delivery, helping the team ship improvements that enhance the experience for Spectrum Mobile customers.

• Gather customer insights and help draft problem statements and requirements for mobile customer experience initiatives
• Write and refine user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira
• Support documentation and knowledge sharing in Confluence and SharePoint Collaborate with design (Figma) and engineering to track features from requirements to release
• Use AI tools (Claude, Kiro) to accelerate research, documentation, and requirement-writing
• Participate in sprint ceremonies and help prepare materials for roadmap and stakeholder updates
• Present a summary of key contributions at the end of the internship

Required qualifications

• Must be a rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028
• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor's degree
• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
• Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
