General Motors in Warren, MI is offering a summer internship for students pursuing engineering degrees. You will contribute to manufacturing process development, tooling alternatives, sequencing, and efficient material flow to support GM’s plants.
Responsibilities include collaboration with suppliers, cross-center projects, and potential travel to partner plants. Start dates May or June 2027. Onsite work with a one-time stipend program.

This could include working on projects that support the development of manufacturing processes & technologies, equipment/tooling alternatives,sequence,and flow of operations for the effectiveutilizationof personnel, material,machines,and facilities vital to produce parts / vehicles.

Travel varies based on assignments and may be required for strategic partners and plants.
Onsite: This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Manufacturing Engineering headquarters in Warren, MI or an assigned plant location on a full-time basis.
GMwill provide aone-time lumpsum taxable stipend payment to eligible students selected for the2026Student Program.
Start dates for this internship role are May & June of 2027.
