Job summary

Apple Bank for Savings is offering a 10-week summer internship in Manhattan, NYC. The program runs June 7–August 12, 2027, with an in-person first week for onboarding and team building. The role follows a hybrid model: four days in the office, one day remote, and includes mentoring and a capstone team project.

You will gain hands-on banking industry experience, formal learning, and personal development opportunities while contributing to real business challenges.

Qualifications

• You are enrolled in a related Bachelor's degree program as a rising Senior with graduation planned December 2027 - May 2028.
• You have a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
• You are authorized to work in the United States with no sponsorship; visa sponsorship is not available.
• You have experience using MS Office 365 tools (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot).
• You understand fundamental cybersecurity concepts and basic networking concepts; security awareness is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Apple Bank's 10-week internship program with onboarding and mentorship.
• Work in a hybrid model: 4 days in the office and 1 day remote per week.

Salary Range: $24/hr -$27/hr

What to expect:

The internship program runs for 10 weeks, from Monday, June 7, 2027, through Thursday, August 12, 2027. An in-person first week in NYC, where you will participate in onboarding, training and team building. A hybrid working model: 4 days a week in the office and 1 day a week remote/virtual. Dedicated leaders steering you through meaningful work in your assigned department. A team project, focused on a real business concern, presented to Senior Leadership. Individual development opportunities. Coaching and Mentoring.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

SKILLS AND EDUCATION

• You are currently enrolled in a related Bachelor's degree program as a rising Senior, with an expected graduation date December 2027 - May 2028.
• You have obtained a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
• You are currently authorized to work in theUnited States with no restrictions; please note that we are unable to sponsor visas for this position.
• You have experience using Microsoft O365 tools, including Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Copilot.
• Understanding of fundamental cybersecurity concepts such as the CIA triad (Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability), threat types, and risk management basics preferred.
• Familiarity with networking and security technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, CASB, and DLP preferred.
