PIMCO invites motivated undergraduates to join the 2027 Summer Internship in Global Wealth Management, Internal Sales, US. Located in Austin, TX, the program runs for 10 weeks, starting in early June through mid-August.
You will gain exposure to the firm’s processes, products, and culture, with hands-on project work and mentorship throughout the summer. You will also be developing in-demand skills, including sales, portfolio construction, market research, and the use of AI-powered tools.

See yourself as a Global Wealth Management, Internal Sales Summer Analyst: As an Internal Sales summer intern within U.S. Global Wealth Management at PIMCO, you will serve as a dynamic resource for the sales team while gaining meaningful exposure to the firm’s process, products, and culture. Through project work focused on sales skills, portfolio construction, market research, and resource navigation, you will build a strong foundation for understanding how PIMCO partners with financial advisor clients.
The internship provides excellent development and training to prepare for a career as an Internal Account Analyst at PIMCO – a role that includes obtaining FINRA licenses and building and maintaining relationships with Financial Advisor clients. While our eligibility requirements are not flexible, we encourage you to apply even if you do not possess 100% of the desired skills outlined above.
The PIMCO Internship is a 10-week program that runs from early June to mid-August, with the expectation that you will be available for the full duration of the program. During Week 1, you will participate in PIMCO Fundamentals Training, providing you with the skills, knowledge, and relationships that will prepare you for success. Alongside your colleagues, participate in PIMCO’s Global Month of Volunteering, developed to heighten the impact of our employees' worldwide volunteer efforts. Join us for a variety of cross-divisional education, networking & social events! Your supervisor, peer mentor, senior leaders, and team will offer guidance and mentorship throughout the summer. You will gain hands‑on experience with AI‑powered tools from day one, with training and resources that help build future‑ready skills and make an impact from the start. You will receive feedback at mid‑ and end‑of‑summer as part of a formal review process to keep you on the path to meeting your summer goals.
After we receive your application, we will conduct an initial review of your resume. If you are selected to move forward, you will take a cognitive assessment and have the opportunity to showcase your interests, skills, and personality by completing a one‑way video interview. Once you complete the assessment and one‑way video interview, you will have a final round of live interviews via video conference. These interviews typically include both behavioral and technical questions. Applications for the internship program are reviewed in phases. Candidates are strongly encouraged to apply as early as possible to be considered in the initial review.
