Job summary

Diversified Gas & Oil Corporation in Appalachia is offering a summer Intern- Engineer internship. The role can sit in one of our Appalachia offices. The program runs for 10–14 weeks, providing real‑world experience in production and operations and exposure to engineering projects.

You will develop engineering skills, read blueprints, follow safety standards, and work with senior mentors to design, install, and optimize mechanical systems and pipelines. A strong communication ethic is valued.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a college/university program at the time of internship.
• Self-starter with a passion for learning and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering skillsets including analyzing, planning, designing, and optimizing.
• Apply engineering and project management solutions for corporate and operations units.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics, or computer‑generated reports.
• Follow safety and compliance standards, budgetary parameters and timelines.
• Research, design, install, and operate mechanical products and processes to meet requirements.
• Develop pipeline industry knowledge through interaction with mentors.
• Problem solving by interpreting technical information and focusing on details.

• Problem Solving – use engineering background to interpret technical information with abstract or concrete variables as well as focus on small details
