Qualifications

• Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university during the duration of the internship.
• Must relocate to Cambridge, MA and work 40hrs/week, Monday to Friday for the full duration.

About You

Basic Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Product Design, UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the Internal requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university throughout the duration of the co-op/internship.
• Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday to Friday for the full duration of the co-op/internship.

Preferred Qualifications

• A portfolio showcasing UX/UI design projects, academic work, personal projects, or internships.
• Understanding of user-centered design principles and design thinking.
• Familiarity with wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
• Experience using Figma or similar design tools.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and willingness to learn.
• Curiosity, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
• We're excited to work with interns who are interested in exploring how AI is transforming product design. Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, tools such as: Figma, AI-assisted design and prototyping tools GitHub (basic knowledge is a plus), Cursor, Claude, Vercel, or other AI-powered product development tools
• No engineering experience is required, but an interest in collaborating with technical teams is appreciated.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is$29-45 USD hourly. All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience.
