Grade: Intern. Location: Cambridge, MA. Duration: 10-12 weeks.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the design of user experiences for digital products and platforms.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Designers throughout the product development process.
  • Participate in product discovery, brainstorming sessions, and design workshops.
  • Help translate user and business needs into simple and intuitive design solutions.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma.
  • Assist with user research, usability testing, and synthesis of insights.
  • Contribute to maintaining consistency across products using design systems.
  • Explore AI-assisted design workflows to prototype and iterate more efficiently.
  • Present your design work and incorporate feedback from teammates and stakeholders.
  • Learn agile product development practices while contributing to team objectives.
Basic Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Product Design, UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future.
  • Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long-term employment and do not meet the Internal requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university throughout the duration of the co-op/internship.
  • Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday to Friday for the full duration of the co-op/internship.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A portfolio showcasing UX/UI design projects, academic work, personal projects, or internships.
  • Understanding of user-centered design principles and design thinking.
  • Familiarity with wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
  • Experience using Figma or similar design tools.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and willingness to learn.
  • Curiosity, creativity, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
  • We're excited to work with interns who are interested in exploring how AI is transforming product design.
  • Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, tools such as: Figma, AI-assisted design and prototyping tools GitHub (basic knowledge is a plus), Cursor, Claude, Vercel, or other AI-powered product development tools.
  • No engineering experience is required, but an interest in collaborating with technical teams is appreciated.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $29-45 USD hourly. All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience.
