  • Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Community Impact program and volunteer event planning. Create tools and resources for employee volunteer activations.
  • Support 2027 Spectrum Digital Education grants cycle.
  • Work in nonprofit management tool, Benevity, to manage processes.
  • Additional program development support as assigned

    • Communications, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Sociology, Public Safety, Cyber Security, Human Resources, IOS Psychology, Law, Liberal Arts, Political Science, History, English, Philosophy, Management and Organization, Marketing,Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Energy Engineering, Energy & Sustainability Policy
  • This is a paid, full-time, 11-week internship designed to give you real-world experience and meaningful exposure to the telecommunications industry in your chosen field.
  • Internship program runs from May 26 through August 6, 2027.
  • In addition to role‑specific projects, you'll take part in professional development sessions, networking opportunities, mentorship and experiences that help you grow personally and professionally.

What you can expect in this role

As a Spectrum intern, you'll spend the summer working alongside two teams: your respective department and your intern cohort.

Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You'll spend the other 20% on internship experiences that include a kickoff conference, professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross‑functional projects and final presentations.

This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand your network and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of our business.

Internship responsibilities may include

We partner with organizations that share our focus on making an impact through several signature philanthropic and engagement programs including: Spectrum Community Center Assist, Spectrum Digital Education, Spectrum Employee Community Grants, Spectrum Scholars, Spectrum Community Investment Loan Fund and Spectrum Smart Device Training for Seniors.
