Job summary

Waymo in Mountain View, CA, is seeking a software engineer or researcher intern who is curious and passionate about Level 4 autonomous driving. You will work on perception, decision-making, and deep learning components, using C++ and Python to prototype and validate models in real-time production style environments.

You will collaborate with onboard engineers, launch features that improve driving behavior in dynamic settings, and contribute to data structures, ML tooling, and software

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related field.

• Strong understanding of data structures and problem solving skills.

• Experience applying machine learning to solve computer vision, motion planning or related robotics problems.
• Experience with Data structures, algorithms, etc.
• Experience using Machine Learning core concepts.

The expected hourly rate for this full-time position is listed below. Interns are also eligible to participate in the Company's generous benefits programs, subject to eligibility requirements.

Hourly Bachelors Pay $60-$60 USD
