Job summary

Waymo in Mountain View is looking for a software intern to help build the Waymo Driver and related autonomous driving software. You will join a team that works on perception, decision-making and real-time systems, contributing to features that improve driving behavior.

Applicants should be currently pursuing a CS or related degree, with experience in C++ and Python and a solid grasp of data structures. This full-time internship offers competitive hourly compensation and generous benefits.

You will:

You have:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience withC++ and Python.
• Strong understanding of data structures and problem solving skills.

We prefer:

• Experience applying machine learning to solve computer vision, motion planning or related robotics problems.
• Experience with Data structures, algorithms, etc.
• Experience using Machine Learning core concepts.

The expected hourly rate for this full-time position is listed below. Interns are also eligible to participate in the Company’s generous benefits programs, subject to eligibility requirements.

Hourly Bachelors Pay

$60—$60 USD

Hourly Masters Pay

$70—$70 USD
