Job summary

Charter Communications is offering a paid, full-time 11-week internship from May 26 to August 6, 2027 for students pursuing Information Technology or Computer Science degrees. The program provides mentorship, professional development, and exposure to the telecommunications industry in a real-world setting.

Interns will work two teams with about 80% project work and 20% development activities, with opportunities to present milestones and network with leaders.

Qualifications

• Rising senior with expected graduation between December 2027 and May 2028.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college pursuing a bachelor's degree.
• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program.
• Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop go to market related changes to support Spectrum Mobile (new device launches, price changes, product enhancements, etc)
• Conduct feasibility studies and analysis to determine the most viable technical solution to business problems/requests
• Present approach to business stakeholders to gain agreement on the technology solution. Establish and document specifications and objectives based on business requirements and cost effectiveness; provide recommendations to management personnel

What you can expect in this role

As a Spectrum intern, you’ll spend the summer working alongside two teams: your respective department and your intern cohort.

Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You’ll spend the other 20% on internship experiences that include a kickoff conference, professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross‑functional projects and final presentations.

This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand your network and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of our business.
