Job summary

Spectrum is offering a paid 11-week internship designed for a student pursuing a degree in IT or CS. The role runs May 26 to August 6, 2027, with hands-on testing in the billing system and exposure to the telecommunications industry.

You’ll participate in mentorship, professional development, and networking sessions to build real-world skills. As a Spectrum intern, you’ll work with two teams, split between department projects (about 80%) and internship experiences (about 20%), including kickoff

Qualifications

• Must be a rising senior with expected graduation between Dec 2027 and May 2028
• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA in current program
• Must be able to travel locally to Spectrum intern events during the program
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future

What you can expect in this role

As a Spectrum intern, you'll spend the summer working alongside two teams: your respective department and your intern cohort.

Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You'll spend the other 20% on internship experiences that include a kickoff conference, professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross‑functional projects and final presentations.

This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand your network and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of our business.

Internship responsibilities may include:

• Learn the billing system and all tools used for testing
• Assisting the team with functional testing in the billing system
• Developing and executing formal test plans
• Documenting all problems and assisting in their resolution

Required Qualifications

• Must be a rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028
• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
• Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
