Summit Electric Supply, part of the Sonepar group, offers a rotational internship designed to provide a deep understanding of roles across the organization. You will gain hands-on experience in warehouse logistics and customer service, with opportunities for growth and education through a personalized training plan.

Responsibilities

• Work in the warehouse gaining hands-on experience in logistics, including delivery, shipping/receiving, and order pulling.
• Work with the counter and inside sales teams to deliver exceptional service, acquiring sales experience through face-to-face interaction with customers.
• Become acquainted with multiple product lines targeting diverse market segments.
• Delve into an immersive introduction to Summit's competitive advantages and market conditions.
• Complete an optional hands-on project in research, analysis, or operations.

Essential Job Functions:

• Work in the warehouse gaining hands-on experience in logistics, including delivery, shipping/receiving, and order pulling.
• Work with the counter and inside sales teams to deliver exceptional service, acquiring sales experience through face-to-face interaction with Summit customers.
• Become acquainted with multiple product lines targeting diverse market segments.

• Put the skills and knowledge acquired along the way to the test by completing an optional hands-on project in the areas of research, analysis, or operations. This is your chance to get creative and bring together what you've been doing all summer.

Physical Challenges:

• Walking, standing most of day while in warehouse and counter sales. Sitting for long periods of time while job shadowing and CSR experience.
