Job summary

Jencap is offering a Summer Insurance Internship designed to give hands-on experience in wholesale brokerage, binding authority, and program management. The nine-week program begins in June 2027 and places interns across multiple offices, including Houston, TX.

Interns will be mentored, shadow staff, participate in team meetings, and handle meaningful assignments in Brokerage or Delegated Binding Authority, with final presentations to leadership.

Qualifications

• Completion of two or more business courses at an accredited college.
• Rising Senior status, May 2028 graduate.
• Business major.

Responsibilities

• Regularly engage with Senior VP of Training & Development and other interns.
• Participate in group assignment with other interns for final presentation.

Jencap Summer Insurance Internship

As an intern you will

• Be assigned mentors and have a working relationship with them.
• Shadow staff members and join team meetings and activities.
• Be assigned meaningful work assignments with one of our core business units: Brokerage or Delegated Binding Authority
• Regularly engage with the Senior Vice President of Training & Development and other interns on training and education hubs.
• Participate in a group assignment with other interns offering meaningful ideas through a final presentation to Jencap leaders at the end of the internship.

The base salary offered for the successful candidate will be based on compensable factors such as job-relevant education, job-relevant experience, training, licensure, demonstrated competencies, geographic location, and other factors.

Discretionary incentive compensation may be awarded. Jencap also offers a range of benefits and programs, based on eligibility, which currently include but are not limited to; comprehensive health care coverage, a 401k plan, and tuition reimbursement.
