Job summary

Butterball, LLC, invites students to join its Finance Internship in Garner, NC, for 10–12 weeks. You will work with the accounting and finance teams to build ad-hoc reports, analyze data, reconcile information, and support monthly financial statements.

This role offers exposure to financial systems and opportunities to contribute to variance reporting and inventory analysis. Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, Agribusiness, or related field with graduation expected

• Demonstrated participation in extracurricular activity; leadership preferred.

Over the course of 10-12 weeks, as a FinanceIntern, you'll work in the Corporate Office located in Garner, NC. Interns experience a variety of exposure to projects that support our business within Accounting and Finance.

The program’s primary objective is to grow future leaders by providing professional development and aseries of assignments in their specific area of academic and professional interest within the processing and manufacturing industry.

What You’ll Do

You’ll work alongside the accounting and finance department. This will include building ad-hoc reports, analyzing data, and collaborating with other departments. You will also assist with data reconciliation, help prepare monthly financial summaries, and participate in special projects such as variance reporting or inventory analysis. Throughout the process, you’ll gain exposure to financial systems, develop an understanding of internal workflows, and help identify opportunities for improvement.

• Ability to show initiative, assume leadership, demonstrate a strong ability to work with others and get the job done – and do so theButterball Way.
• All participants in this program are required to have a valid drivers’ license and reliable transportation to and from work.
