Hitachi Energy offers a 12-week summer internship in Raleigh, NC, with hybrid or in-office scheduling. The program provides a learning journey across multiple energy domains and real-world project work designed to impact the next era of sustainable energy.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, authorized to work in the United States, and capable of collaborative, independent, and cross-cultural teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Candidate must already have work authorization to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
• Ability to work across cultures.
• Good conceptual and analytical thinking.
• Effective working within a team.
• Self-motivated and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meaningful projects across Hitachi Energy during the 12-week program.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on real-world challenges in electrical energy systems.
• Gain hands-on experience through a structured internship with cross-functional exposure.

Your Background

• Obtaining a bachelor’s or `master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
• Ability to work across cultures.

• Self-motivated and ability to work independently.

Role could include positions like Design Engineer, R&D Engineering, Supply Chain, Power Systems, Distribution Transformers, Quality & Continuous Improvement
