Wolfoods, Inc. is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camp facilities. This on-site, live-in position requires managing all prep and production for a designated day part, supervising staff, and upholding allergen safety protocols.

The role is seasonal (May–Sept), full-time exempt with a demanding 6-day/70-hour week, offering competitive seasonal pay, a bonus, and full room & board for the contract duration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• Certifications: ServSafe Allergens required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Skills: Strong leadership, cooking, able to navigate I-Pad, versatile with ingredients, and sharp problem-solving abilities.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, work in hot/cold kitchen settings, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Lifestyle: Ready to live on-site in a rustic setting, work a demanding minimum 6-day/70-hour week, and thrive under pressure.

• Culinary & Quality Excellence: Operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking execution, and timely meal service.

• Administration & Budget: Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting
• Client Relations: Serve as a liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
