The Aerospace Corporation is hiring Software Engineering Undergraduate Interns for the ISCD. The role is full-time and onsite at El Segundo, CA or Chantilly, VA, with training and mentorship provided.

You will work on simulated space systems, developing prototypes in Python, Java and C, and collaborating across disciplines to deliver high-performance software solutions. Applicants must be full-time students pursuing CS/CE or related fields, with the ability to obtain a U.S.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled full-time pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in CS/CE or related field.
  • Availability to work full-time for a minimum of 10 weeks and return to degree program afterward.
  • Experience programming in Python, C/C++, or Java; knowledge of cloud services helpful.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
  • Transcripts required for consideration.

  • Participates in software design and implementation of a simulated space system.
