Responsibilities

• Perform assignments in technical/engineering organizations while enrolled in an accredited degree program.
• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls).
• Perform routine network updates, backups, and maintenance tasks.
• Work closely with IT teams, software developers, and other departments to ensure the network supports all business functions efficiently.

What You Will Do

• Perform assignments in technical/engineering organizations while enrolled in an accredited degree program.
• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls).
• Perform routine network updates, backups, and maintenance tasks.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.
• Must have taken basic IT courses that focus on the function and use cases for devices such as routers, switches, servers, storage, and/or firewalls.
• Additionally, must have taken a course on systems/software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Agile development cycle.
• Hands-on experience with creating, loading, or troubleshooting network configurations a plus.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance prior to the start date is required.
• Having an 8570 IAT II compliant certification at start is desired.

Salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
