Job summary

Plante Moran seeks a student with a focus on Marketing/Marketing Technology to assist in managing our marketing tech stack, CRM, and data initiatives. You will support campaigns, tooling, and data quality while learning how technology drives client engagement and business growth.

You will gain hands-on experience with marketing platforms, system rollouts, and cross-functional collaboration in a large professional services firm environment in Illinois.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Marketing Technology, Marketing Operations, Communications, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0.
  • Demonstrated interest in marketing technology, CRM platforms, AI tools, or marketing operations through coursework, projects, internships, or student orgs.
  • Exposure to CRM, marketing automation, Microsoft technologies, AI tools, or related business systems is preferred.
  • Strong interest in how technology supports marketing strategy, client engagement, and business development.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work across teams and support end users.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing and maintaining the firm's marketing technology stack, including CRM, marketing automation, and other platforms.
  • Support data management initiatives to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of firmwide marketing and client data.
  • Assist with technology rollouts, system enhancements, testing, and adopting new marketing tech capabilities.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for marketing technology questions and help users troubleshoot with system admins.
  • Support administration of marketing tech tools, including user adoption, documentation, training, and communicating new features.
  • Assist in building, testing, and deploying digital marketing campaigns through CRM and marketing automation platforms.
  • Support lead management and qualification processes while helping maintain data quality and marketing ops best practices.

Your Role
  • Assist in the management and maintenance of the firm's marketing technology stack, including CRM, marketing automation, and other marketing platforms.

  • Support the administration of marketing technology tools, including user adoption, documentation, training, and communication of new features and functionality.

Your Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Marketing Technology, Marketing Operations, Communications, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0.
  • Demonstrated interest in marketing technology, CRM platforms, artificial intelligence (AI), digital marketing, or marketing operations through coursework, projects, internships, or student organizations.
  • Exposure to CRM, marketing automation, Microsoft technologies, AI tools, or related business systems is preferred.
  • Strong interest in learning how technology supports marketing strategy, client engagement, and business development.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate and reliable data.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues, think critically, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and support end users with varying levels of technical expertise.

We are pleased to offer eligible staff a robust benefits package. Eligibility and contribution requirements for some of these benefits vary based on the number of hours staff work per week. Highlights include health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance. These standard offerings are effective on the first of the month following your start date. In addition to this, eligible staff are able to take advantage of our Flexible Time Off and various pre-determined holidays as well as a 401(k) plan, flexible benefits plans, business-related travel expense, lodging and meal reimbursement for business-related use. A Pension plan is also available for eligible administrative and paraprofessional staff. A discretionary bonus plan is available for eligible staff. Plante Moran also offers Interns and Contractors the option to elect health insurance under our contingent staff medical plan as of the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment in addition to limited paid time sick time. Seasonal staff are not eligible for benefits.

Compensation is commensurate with technical skills and experience is provided in accordance with applicable state requirement. Compensation information posted is based on a position being located in the state of CO or IL. Please review theposition location for theapplicable geographic location.

Colorado hourly rate range is as follows: $25.00 - $25.00

Illinois hourly rate range is as follows: $25.00 - $25.00
