Job summary

The Stellantis Manufacturing Summer Internship in Dundee/Toledo is a hands-on, in-person program designed to develop future engineers and operations leaders. Interns rotate through key manufacturing areas, work on real projects with mentorship, and engage in networking events and skill-building sessions.

Participants will gain exposure to Lean manufacturing concepts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and explore potential full-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a manufacturing-related program at an accredited university.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week during the internship.

2027 Manufacturing Summer Internship – Dundee/Toledo

INTERNSHIP FORMAT:

This internship will follow an in-person model. Interns will be based at one of the Stellantis manufacturing plants located in the Dundee, MI/Toledo, OH area. Relocation assistance may be available for candidates who meet specific eligibility criteria. The internship program is scheduled to run from May through August 2027.

DEPARTMENT DETAILS:

Manufacturing intern assignments focus on Stellantis Industrial System (SIS) processes, products and services in the following areas:

• Assembly Operations
• Engine and Transmission Manufacturing
• Manufacturing Planning and Control
• Manufacturing Engineering
• Stamping Operations
• Manufacturing Quality

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a manufacturing-related program at an accredited university (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering) or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week during the internship.
• Willingness to relocate for internship.
• Completion of freshman year or higher at an accredited college or university by the Spring 2027.
• Must be willing and able to work in a manufacturing environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrated knowledge of LEAN manufacturing processes.
• Strong interest in manufacturing and manufacturing operations in the automotive industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Capable of working bothindependently andas part ofa team.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various organizational levels and with external partners.
