Textron Aviation is seeking an IT intern to contribute to development and support of information systems. You will work with experienced professionals on real projects, gaining hands-on experience while exploring your interests and building new skills.
Responsibilities include data gathering, software design and implementation, and collaboration across teams using Agile/DevOps. Pursuing MIS/CS degrees with strong communication and analytical skills is preferred.

Developers are responsible for provide programming and support in the development and enhancement of information systems. They develop applications (writing, editing, and debugging) that effective solutions to address business problems. Developers work with many different tools and environments to manage code; and work with business analysts and end users to understand, test, and implement solutions. The developer participates in review and design sessions to plan projects; and are called on to provide trainingfor IT and non-IT team members on the systems that are developed.

Summer internships are 40 hours per week typically from late‑May to early‑August lasting 10 weeks. Candidates must be able to work onsite for the entirety of the internship program unless approved otherwise by the hiring manager.
