Job summary

Textron Systems in Hunt Valley, MD is offering a 2027 Intern - Software Engineer (Electronic Systems). You will develop, enhance and maintain software for simulators and automated test equipment, using C++, Java, Python, HTML, and other languages.

The internship lasts 10 weeks, with a prepaid stipend. You must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/CIS/MIS and be a U.S. citizen eligible for a security clearance. You will join a cross-functional team with mentorship and hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/CIS/MIS or a related field.
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Experience with C++, Java, Python, HTML is a plus.

Textron’s compensation package includes competitive base pay and provides eligible employees with benefit programs.
