Qualifications

  • BS in Packaging Science preferred or related engineering with COOP/internship/6 months packaging ops experience.
  • GMP environment experience is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with Lean Six Sigma knowledge.
  • Technical writing and document review experience (deviations, change requests, SOPs).

Responsibilities

  • Author and revise component specifications with cross-functional teams.
  • Work with vendors to develop/test components for qualifications and launches.
  • Assist with design transfer input and partner with Packaging Tech Operations on changes.
  • Act as Change Initiator/PM for component-related changes and site impact assessments.
  • Initiate workflows in GLAMS for printed component drawings used globally.
  • Troubleshoot line issues related to component performance and manage IMS investigations.

## 2027 Future Talent Program - Packaging Component EngineerApply: Not Applicable: USA - North Carolina - Wilson: Full time: Posted Today: End Date: October 5, 2026 (23 days left to apply): R416714**Job Description**Responsible for supporting packaging and component engineering capabilities for the Wilson site focused on effective component life cycle management, related quality investigations, lines projects, and packaging continuous improvement projects.Responsible for process performance support and troubleshooting products packaged at our Wilson location and working closely with other site and above-site groups for the introduction of new products, network transfers and processes as well as external suppliers, packaging commercialization, and global support functions.This position will report to the Associate Director of Packaging Technical Operations (PTO Component Engineering) and will have frequent interaction with other business units at the site as well as external suppliers, packaging commercialization, and global support functions.
